To provide the most effective training experience, it is essential to fully customize the process to your treatment philosophy, operational structure and target audience. Trainings are individualized to the organization's needs and resources. Other components of the process are working with clinical supervisors to sustain the content of the training and booster sessions to participants to cement learning.

"Dr. Moonshine is an excellent, articulate presenter, who has a clear command of her training topics. One of the best presenters I have ever seen and easily the best training overall."

I have a passion for training novice and experienced clinicians. I created an internship program at De Paul Treatment Centers that trains up to ten counselors per year. I have many years of experience teaching, training and supervising alcohol & drug counselors, masters/doctoral students and licensed professionals.

I am well acquainted with Senate Bill 267 and OMHAS’ movement towards a minimum of 75% government funding being spent of evidence based practices (EBPs). I was trained in the scientist-practitioner model established by the American Psychologist Association. My doctoral education focused on research protocols for mental health and addictions treatment. During my tenure in the Portland Metro Area, I have worked within organizations and as a consultant implementing and sustaining best practices and EBPs.

I look forward to assisting your organization with its training and workforce development needs.
